Shayanska mineral water

The effect of SHAYANSKA mineral water on the body is based on the similarity between its carbon dioxide–bicarbonate buffer system and the body's buffer system of a similar composition. This promotes close interaction and influences the pH of the body's internal environment during nutrition.

SHAYANSKA mineral water not only supplies the body with valuable trace elements, calcium, magnesium and iron, but also helps remove waste products, toxins and urinary sediment. This effect is complemented by the detoxifying action of the colloidal form of metasilicic acid. The presence of silicon helps reduce excessive intestinal motility.

Thanks to its alkalising, choleretic, diuretic and detoxifying effects, SHAYANSKA mineral water is prescribed for stomach disorders, including chronic gastritis with normal, increased or reduced acidity; uncomplicated gastric and duodenal ulcers; chronic colitis and enterocolitis; chronic liver and biliary tract diseases; hepatitis; cholecystitis; cholangitis of various causes; diabetes mellitus; obesity; gout; uric acid diathesis; oxaluria; phosphaturia; chronic kidney and urinary tract diseases; and iron-deficiency anaemia.

Shayanska is a cold, naturally carbonated, low-mineralisation, silicon-containing sodium bicarbonate mineral water bottled from well No. 242 of the Shayan deposit at a depth of 250 metres.

The main reserves of carbonated mineral waters reach the surface through faults in the Pannonian cushion of sandy and clayey deposits in the southeastern part of the Vihorlat–Hutyn ridge.

A key feature of Shayanska mineral water is the presence of metasilicic acid, not only in molecular and ionic forms but also in a colloidal form, which is particularly important for the therapeutic properties of mineral waters.

The mineral water also contains biologically active concentrations of calcium (one quarter of the daily requirement), magnesium, iron, lithium and other elements.

The closest equivalents to Shayanska are Dilijan mineral water (Armenia), Knjaz Milos (Serbia), Anka, Dabrowka and Mieszko (Poland), and the waters of the Baile Tusnad resort (Romania) and Evian-les-Bains (France).
